I just wanna post up what xindi had typed for us last time, in case you haven't read it.

JC1s: The road is still long. But trust me, it will be over in no time. So please treasure your time with your wonderful members… Dont regret after you guys are in JC2 and are about to leave the orchestra. Like i always say and reiterate, EVERYONE is important. Doesnt mean you are not exco means you are unimportant. You do not need to be an exco member to commit to CO. I think this is an important thing that you must bear in your mind. An orchestra refers to a group of musicians playing different instruments. Without you members, there can be no exco. So please give Weebian your full support in the coming 1 year. The road to SYF is never easy. Besides there is also the annual concert. So JC1s, please be consistent in your work so that you dont lag behind too much when the hectic season comes. I need to warn you people that there will be many intensive practices when the competition draws nearer. So please dont groan when the exco announces it. Every decision made by the exco or teachers is for the interest of EVERYONE! Of course we treasure your opinions…every single one of you. So please do inform Weebian if you have any constructive suggestions.And to my ’10 EXCO, only when everyone is united as one can the true human spirit be seen. So please cooperate wit one and another and compromise. Communication is key, so please voice out your concerns when you see a certain area needs to be improved. But bear in mind, every criticism MUST come with a improvement.

I hope that even if you all don't read through the whole thing, at least look at what i have highlighted.

Okay firstly, i hope you guys are practising hard for the Hong Kong songs. Even if you are not going Hong Kong, it is important that you learn those song because we are gonna use 1 or 2 for VHAPSODY 2011, the annual biggest event for VJCO. Also, please make sure your basics (ji ben gong) is solid! Because our SYF set piece will arrive soon, most probably before December and most of you will be going for SYF.

Open house 2010 was a great success (at least for VJCO) because we showed them how crazy and fun we are! Especially the part when we were spamming songs and other CCA can only watch, cannot do anything cause we are too LOUD :D Okay and mass dance with VJCO peeps was crazier, and to think that we are the only CCA (excluding CT la, they not a proper cca) that did our cheer. I think all of us are damn proud of being in CO right.

Really really want to thank all those that performed for openhouse because we chiong for 3 consecutive days. The performance was great too haha. Another group of people i want to thank is those people who set up the booth, take shift to tend the booth.

The open house wouldn't have been a success without all of you!

So guys... I hope your papers were okay, i heard that many of you were very confident so i guess all of you are doing good :D As the saying always goes, work hard play hard, thats why all of you deserve some fun. Coming Saturday VJCO will be going sentosa again, i really hope the whole CO can go down to have fun like the last time we went there. Its the biggest event of the year!!! (according to facebook's event name) So yeah, 9 October, saturday, sentosa.

As you all know right, open house is on friday. So we have to start our practices tomorrow. There will be 3 consecutive days of practice, so please understand why we need to practice so much because is either we perform our best, or we don't perform at all. Come on, we are the best CCA in VJ and I know all of you love VJCO a lot so lets work hard! Come

Hey people, how are your holidays? I'm sure its fun and exciting right, just like mine.

Anyway, as some of you may have known already, Peiyun takes H2 art and for her prelims/Alevel she need some hunk to help her carry stuff. So, i hope some of us can go help her this coming Saturday in the morning because currently only have around 3 girls helping her. So if you want to go, sms terie ask her!

Its the promos break finally! I will definitely miss the stupid sectionals and dazu that we have. But its okay, we are only j1 we have 1 more year or less of CO more to go.

And members! Please take note that the CO room (next to odac room next to SC room) is always open for you guys so if you want to talk some crap or have lunch with CO people, do come up. The room is for US thus we must fully utilise it, to make our journey in VJCO worthwhile. Okay that was crap, but my point is, come up and have fun :D

Lastly, lets all work hard for promos, and im very sure life after promos for VJCO peeps will be like doubly fun compared to june hols!

The co room is REALLY nice now, so please don't throw any rubbish on the floor anymore. Moreover, always clear your plate and cups after eating, you don't want to be chilling out in the co rooms with ants, cockroaches and rat. So everyone, keep the co room clean!

Hello VJCO! July rocks, because its the birthday of many people. Okay kidding, actually everyday with CO practice rocks. Right?

Just to update all of you, rehearsal on 22 July-(Thursday) will be in the afternoon. Please gather in CO room by 2.45pm. If the STUDENT COUNCIL is on time, and if they are efficient, the whole thing will end by 4.30 latest.

Another thing, please take note that ALL of you have to choose a concert to attend, either the SYCO or the SCO.
SYCO concert is on 25 July, 8pm at Singapore Conference Hall, tickets at $9 each.
SCO concert is on 21 August, 8pm at Singapore Conference Hall, tickets at $15 each.

Initially, you all were suppose to go for 2 concerts because Mr Quek asked for full attendance for concert, but we think its quite expensive to go for both thus we decided to ask you all go for 1 only. We will be going as a whole CO, therefore you can count this as a mini CO outing. Also, i hope that you all can experience and see how a professional orchestra performs, definitely an eye-opener, especially for the newcomers.

Don't worry, i will announce to the whole CO tomorrow.

Hello VJCO, yesterday's concert was really damn nice lat. If you all realised, when VJCO came onto the stage, did you all realize that the cheering was exceptionally loud and fierce? Haha i really feel proud to be walking with you all on the stage yesterday! Every concert i mean, not only yesterday. The dong that played yesterday was much better than any dong i heard elsewhere (except pro recording XD) and it was better than vhapsody one WOOHOO.

I would like to thank the j2s for the effort they put in, even though it is already july, prelims and Alevel are getting closer, you guys still chose to help us. Thank you very much dudes and babes. JTS SOON OKAY I PROMISE YOU!
And by the way, Enzon is the coolest and the best student conductor ever man. I bet you guys will agree with me, how pro he is. You know when i told him he need to conduct if Mr Quek is not able to reach in time, his immediate reply was "no problem la, can." Song sim passed him the conductor score, he just scanned awhile and he closed it and told me "later no need to bring the score up the stage" And if you guys realise, his score were closed throughout the whole song on stage, he just conducted us calmly. The song ended on a high :D Thank you enzon tan, our student conductor of 09 exco.

For the rest of the j1s, thanks for doing your best although we are only playing 2 songs. Its okay, its the quality that counts and not the quantity. We showed the audience what we got by just playing one song on our own. There are more opportunity for us, next year SYF and vhapsody.

Hi everyone!

Today had been a long and draggy day for everyone i know, im feeling super tired too. Frankly speaking, the technical run was quite messy. Yeah although i know everyone is feeling restless when i ask you to sit there and stand and sit, but i really hope you all can cooperate with me because its only 2 hours and our concert is less than 3 days later. Im sure you all want to put up another dazzling performance like our vhapsody, or even better right? For a concert to be successful, not only the musical aspect has to be great, our stage presence has to be excellent too. The way we walk in and out of stage, how we sit on stage and how much noise we make during the performance matters, sometimes more than the musical aspect. So guys, when we ask you to come for technical run, please take it seriously. We will be having some sort of run through on saturday, i expect all of us to be very familiar with the seating arrangement because if we are not, how are the guests gonna follow us?

The committee are having a heavy workload and i would like to thank them, especially the SLs. Haha, really, during the pre-concert preparation, SLs really has much work to do, somemore i keep pushing them, i think they really deserve some sort of recognition XD Thanks SLs!

For the J2s, i hope your CT result was fine :D Thanks for coming down to help out and i see all of you not grumbling although today was such a messy technical run. Seniors are the best laaaaa. Just 3 more days and you all are free!

And to the rest of VJCO members, much thanks to you too for staying late recently. 3 days to our concert, it would be our last concert with the J2s and hopefully we can make it a successful one. I promise after our concert we will organise a SENTOSA OUTING :D Lets look forward to it haha.

And also, i was thinking do you all want sentosa on sunday/monday? Monday is a youth day, i guess most of you may be able to make it. Really hope whole orchestra can have fun together again before our PROMOS and ALEVEL. Moreover, MY and CTs are just over, its time to relax abit. So let's relax, before continue mugging again. Hi everyone! How is your first paper? Im trying to stop myself from studying econs so i come here to update for you all.

First thing, for j1s and ips, if you can perform any songs, please tell your SLs you want to perform because sometimes the section is too big the SLs don't really know each and everyone of you well.
For j2s, all of you are WELCOMED to perform with us! This concert will be compulsory for all of you (if not, you are strongly strongly encouraged, if you do not like the word compulsory) if you are going for the hongkong exchange at the end of the year.

Next, for ALL of you, meaning j1 j2 ips, please tell your SLs how many ticket you want for the july concert by tomorrow, or wednesday morning latest. Tickets are free of charge, you are encouraged to ask your parents, or your good friends to watch you perform. There is no limit to the the number of tickets you can take, but be sensible, don't ask for unreasonable numbers like 20plus or what. Be considerate also, if you want the ticket, you must make sure the person come for it. Don't waste space just because its free!

Hey VJCO! It has been a long and tiring holiday for all of you, yeah cause you all have to keep coming back for practices. I want to thank all of you for your hard work and effort in the recent weeks, especially the J2s :D
Because of this, Mr Lin has decided to give the whole CO an off day on the coming friday, 18/6. So please take note, FRIDAY (18/6) has NO PRACTICE, don't be in school okay.

Next thing, practice resumes on the 3 JULY, this is quite important eh, please take note. 3rd July is a Saturday, there will be dazu with Mr Quek from 8.30-1pm. Don't be late.

And so, dudes and babes, please remember to work hard for your midyears and CT2. I know world cup is exciting, but remember to control yourself la okay, because our midyears starts less than 11 days later. There are so many things i want to say.

Firstly, i really really want to thank the current j2s for all their efforts they put in in improving this CO. I mean without them, VJCO really wouldn’t survive till today! I can’t stress how much hard work the exco had put in to make our concert a roaring success, you have to see it yourself. And to the non exco, especially peiyun qihao and terie (sorry my brain is not working its 12:45 now!), i respect you 3 cause even though all 3 of you are not in it, you put in the same amount of time and commitment, or even more towards VJCO. Thats something worth commenting about.

I wish all of you the best in your Alevel and one thing, remember to come back often cause we juniors will definitely miss you a alot. HAHA. We still have our hongkong trip i really hope that all of you can come back and have fun with us! Cause life without you all are boring :D

To my peers: Hello guys! The j2s have step down, its our turn to run the show. Exco or non exco, it doesn’t matter because we play as ONE co, we laugh as ONE co and we live as ONE co. Know that in the year to come, everything we do will be for the welfare of VJCO, so come on guys lets do our best in everything! One year is short, live to our fullest :)

Hey guys my fellow members…

This shall be my last post! “Yay” for some, “noooo” for the others…well hopefully hahaha. Hey people it has been a long long journey since the start of my term as president of co. To my JC2 members, YES WE MADE IT WE ARE LIBERATED NOW! WOOHOO!

At least this was what i thought before the concert. I thought that I will be like so damn freaking relieved and happy after stepping down, but the reality is I dont really feel that happy at all. CO as been like a second family to me and CO room my second home. I will never forget those crazy moments we had together. Haiz i guess there are just too many things i wanna say i dont even know where to start from…

JC2: Thanks for working so hard with me and thanks for the wonderful memories.:) Yes we made it despite all of this obstacles. I hope this journey had been a fun and enriching one, cause it is really a great one for me. Yes i agree our batch is always the suay batch. We were hit with soo many problems since the end of last year. From sudden departure of teacher in charge, to sudden change in concert timings, and i am proud to say that we made it true not just alive, but with our heads held high. So all of you, good luck for your CT2s, Prelims, Alevels and whatever you do in the future, hope our friendship never ends here:) of cause we still have the Hong Kong trip. But from what i see i dont think many of you guys will be keen at the end of Alevels due to different commitments. But nevertheless, thanks for being a part of CO.

Gorilla: Thanks for being such a wonderful vice president. You are not just a VP, but a great friend. What you did, esp in the last 2 months, certainly showed how committed you were to CO. And yes you definitely did a great job in managing Tanbo section.:) You are someone I can always depend on and you can always provide me with a different perspective to issues. Neigh neigh noob: Yes horsey, you were always a good friend too me and a wonderful secretary.:) I must admit I am really quite disturbed by your efficiency at the second half of last year, but this year, you definitely did a great job. Moving on… Yeap yes you did a good job along with Mrs Foo:) collecting the synopsis and enduring the perfectionist attitude of Mr Lin. Yes you made it through!

Voldermort: Hmmm is this spelling correct? sounds correct la. Yeh thanks for always helping cope scores frome GE and enduring the endless nagging of the photocopy shop auntie. Haha and not forgetting your arrangements for IP open house and VLV(elites). All the best for Alevels:)

Porcupine: Haha i guess you are one of the most shagged person on stage for concert. Thanks for making the movements on the stage run so smoothly. Its all your hardwork:) You deserve the credit:) despite some screw ups here and there, we managed to put up a well rehearsed concert. Kudos to you:) and of cos not forgetting your endless connections to help us loan instruments:)

Parrot: Ello! You ah. Hahaha. Ok thanks for ENDURING THE NAGGINGS OF OUR INSTRUEMNT TEACHER IN CHARGE! You definitely have loads of patience! I wanna salute you seriously. Haha. Anyway you have done a good job in managing the instruments and doing stock checks. You were like forever running abt cleaning up the room after pracs. Yes i observed it. Your hardwork didnt go un noticed. HAVE FUN SWIMMING!:D

Buff Boy: Aiya known you so long liao. Had no worries in throwing the whole percussion and ticketing to you. And yes percussion was like one of the best sections. Though we are still $40 short, but i think you have still done a good job in collating the money cos it is super messy and BSVKADDYSU job. HAHA. Okie have fun with Sotong hahaha.

Axon: Yes you are an import part of the human nervous system. OOps wrong axon. Haha. Yeaaa your imba guanyue certainly was one of the most bonded sections! You were a great SL, and an excellent SC. Seriously. If not for you we will have wasted like dunno how much time before gls comes for combined. And thanks to you we alws were able to preactise on our own:) and of cos your job is not done yet muahahahaha. Still got july concert. SO JIAYOU! You and your lame jokes…TERIEble.(pun intended):)

Fatimah my maid: Thanks for keeping my house so clean fatimah. Its time you go back Philippines:) Hmm i guess your section was the most challenging to manage bahh. And i definitely know you put in like soooooooooooooooooo much effort to train some players from scratch. You are really one great SL as said by your members. I cannot agree more:) and yeap pls treasure what you have ah. “what” refers to you know who LOL

Teddy bear: HIYA! I still remember first day you came in. Haha you were super off tune LOL. I thought you were some mediocre player. But wahhh after a few months “BEAW” you became like so imba haha. TOMATO: Hi Toe-ma-toe! I know you always have a hard time gathering all the members for sectionals…but you did it! Good job:) The fact that you lead your section to such a standard in such a short time is amazing:) pls jiayou(you know what i mean). fight on:) ALL THE BEST!

Sotong: Wah i just cannot thank you enough lor seriously. The programme booklet design would not have been possible without you. Your commitment to CO is just…OMG. I cant find a word to describe. Bimbo: Yes like i always say. THANKS for being a great bass SL. Although its not official, you really did a great job.:) I know the cello section always neglect the bass and it is because of you that the bassists actually practise seriously.:) And as a friend, thanks for being a bimbo.
